* A meal will be served to all runners after the race.
* Kids racing in the 1K will receive healthy meals after their race at 1: 30 pm. You must bring something for them to eat prior to the race.
* Visitors and familly members will be able to buy food onsite(BBQ), as well as hungry runners who want a BBQ in addition to the meals provided by the XTrail.
Many volunteers will be available on the trails at intersections. A medical team will be onsite including 2 doctors who will be on the trails at hot spots. All trails will be marked and no derogation from the course will be tolerated under penalty of disqualification. If the weather allows it, the XTRAIL helicopter will fly over the course to take pictures and ensure safety.
All trails will be closed by a member of the organisation for security. Please advise if you abandon. The Organization of the XTRAIL reserves itself the right to suggest an injured runner, with poor condition or a slow runner who will make some of the cut-off times, to abandon. This runner will be automatically disqualified.
XTRAIL ASICS being a trail race, you will need to be extremely vigilant when passing over another runner. Please advise the runner in front of you when passing. Starts are made to allow a stretch of the riders on the first kilometers. A runner receiving a passing announcement must leave its place to the rider behind him. We count on the collaboration of everyone.
All MP3 players (Ipod and others) are strictly forbidden.
We suggest you the following equipment:
- A pair of trail shoes (Attack Trail ASICS, ASICS Gel-Trabucco, ASICS Trail Sensor) available at Boutique Coureur de Sherbrooke or at www.33-off.com
- Walking poles are permitted.
- Hydration Pack like CamelBag or Nathan Belt (mandatory for the 21K and strongly suggested for the 10K and 5K)
